We are a “Stump To Dump” small
family business, meaning that we harvest logs selectively with
a minimal Eco Footprint. We take damaged snow snapped,
standing dead, fire kill, and bug kill logs to our two-man
mill operation where it is manufactured into a number of specialty
wood products. This does two things;
- It increases the health and longevity of
the forest. AND
- It utilizes wood that would otherwise be
thrown away.
Once the wood is milled it is dried in our
kiln which in turn is then used to produce a variety of custom
handcrafted wood products. Our shop makes everything
from Squared Timbered Log Homes to the Baysix Mini Model.
